The way we think is everything... And better watch what we focus on, because it may show right up! Often, it takes measuring our thoughts moment by moment to create a healthier viewpoint and more fulfilling life. Try these three tips for putting your perspective in check: 1) Where is my focus? So often we spend too much time thinking about what we "don't" want rather than zeroing in on what we "do" want. Whether we acknowledge it or not, mental content is key! Our minds require regular maintenance. 2) Is my perspective healthy? It's possible to sabotage ourselves by focusing on the negative. Let's face it, all of us are guilty of putting the magnifying glass over our problems, but ultimately, how does it make us feel? Horrible. If we can recognize the direct correlation between the power of our thoughts and the magnitude of our happiness, then we can begin to change our life. 3) How can I attract a better life? Changing our perspective can be as easy as turning on a light switch. When you find yourself feeling less than desirable, immediately changing your thoughts in a positive way. By focusing on our goals, dreams & wishes, and keeping an open mind, we can attract more of what we want.
