Fast forward to December 31st, 2012!

So, it's my birthday today... number 34, and I'm enjoying the variety this day has to offer.  Growing up, I remember thinking my 34th year of life would be cool for some reason.  Today, its not exactly like I pictured... yet in some ways its better.

Wisdom doesn't necessarily come with age, yet somehow we grow through the experiences from our youth and beyond.  It's interesting, due to the power of the internet, how easily we are able to keep up with so many people we've met along the way.  One thing I've noticed is how little we've all changed through time.  Oh, sure, we've matured, hopefully we're much more responsible than we once were, but it seems the core of who we are really has not changed.

Today, I am thankful for who I am and the life I've created for myself.  Usually, we aren't where we want to be, but Lawdy, let's be happy we're not where we used to be!   ...This just feels like it's gonna be a great year!

Do you want to maximize your 2012?  Try this exercise: Imagine its December 31st, 2012.  Look back over the year, what all have you accomplished?  If you could create the year you wanted, how would it turn out?  Now, I challenge you to be brave - write it down...  See, when we allow our passion to create the vision, our soul speaks.  Make no mistake, it takes guts to be true to yourself, and create the life you want.
