Fulfill Your Destiny: 3 Simple Tips For Creating A Visual Dream Board

Have you ever set a specific goal, and reach it?  If so, you're a likely candidate to appreciate and utilize a "dream board".  Having built a visual board myself, I can attest that dreams CAN become accomplishments faster with visual aids.  Tasks I've wanted to accomplish for years have come to fruition in just a short time utilizing this common goal setting method. 

To boost your own personal and professional success, apply the following techniques to build your dream board:


1) Provide A Safe, "Boundary-Free" Environment - Do you ever hear your inner voice say, 'I'd love to accomplish _________', then right after, ego steps in and says, "You can't do that"? If so, you are not alone.  Permitting our ego to dictate what we can and cannot implement keeps us from achieving our full potential.  By evoking an atmosphere that nurtures our inner voice, we can allow our dreams to take form.

2) Focus On Your Ideal - When you think of your best life, what does it look like?  So often, we have dreams and wishes that go unclaimed.  If you're like most, you  daydream about the life you'd love to have, yet you lack the direct focus and dedication to making it happen.  By listening to our hearts true desire, we gain a better understanding of who we are and what we really want out of our life.

3) Apply Images To Your Dream Board - This may sound silly for those who have not yet created a visual board yet, but it works...  First, find a board you like; Second, research and collect photos, phrases, etc. that represent goals you would love to accomplish; Third, post images on your dream board and place it in an area where it can be seen on a regular basis. 

Once you create your visual dream board, get ready to achieve your goals!  Before too long, you'll be taking down and collecting images from your dream board that represent your accomplishments, and replacing them with even bigger and more creative expressions of the live you were born to live.
