Let's face it, we all have some degree of detrimental thoughts. Usually, we think it's somewhat healthy, I mean afterall, at least we don't have a roaring ego, right? Consider These Two Tips For Breaking Through Any Negative Self-Talk: We Have The Power To Control Our Thoughts - Moment by moment, thought by thought, we are creating our own reality. Essentially, what we think is the foundation of what we do and how we act, so protect your thoughts. Don't let a poor self-image or negative impressions hold you back. Begin to exercising your true power! Immediately Stop and Re-assess - Often, we harbor negative thoughts when we feel out of control. Truth is, most of our negative thoughts are hypothethical anyway. When you have a less than desirable outlook, immediately stop and assess... Changing your thoughts can be as easy as flipping a switch! Dr. Wayne Dyer teaches us the importance of having power over our thoughts stating, "Change your thoughts, change your life". Comanding the mind is a step by step process. Be easy with yourself, a peaceful mind takes time and effort. The next time you find yourself in the midst of negative self-talk, realize you DO have the ability to control your thoughts and "flip the switch" to create a more positive you.
